An internal dispute over costs, margins, allocations etc that make no difference whatsoever to the real profits and costs - it's just an internal departmental spat. The managers sitting above this row comment 'they are simply arguing over wooden dollars' - it doesn't change a thing .
An employee claims increased margins to those actually made on a deal. They want to take out transport, add back some costs etc - all to maximise commission. Of course the companies profit is unchanged by all of this... the employee is simply arguing about 'unreal' or 'wooden' dollars.
